After ten years working as a scenographer and dramaturge for institutions like Festival de Teatre Grec of Barcelona, the Wroclaw Opera (Poland), Festival de Teatro Latinoamericano (Colombia) or the Teatre Poliorama of Barcelona amongst others, Ignasi Cristià sets his own studio in 1999 to work, essentially, as an Exhibition Designer. Since then he’s been signing an infinite amount of projects for different museums and cultural centres, from which we could highlight the Museu d’Història de Catalunya, the Musée Dauphinois of Grenoble, the Musée de la Résistence et de la Deportation of Isère, the Museu de l’Exili of la Jonquera, the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, the Musée de Montmartre, Paris, “la Caixa” Bank Foundation and the Junta Constructora de la Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Barcelona.

Having become a recognised benchmark, both nationally and internationally, the studio decided to relaunch itself in 2019. Being named Cristià-Blasi, their motto states that, in the creative branch, the only principle worthy of being upholding is the necessity to change and  transform.

After more than twenty years giving meaning to the spaces, Ignasi meets Iago Blasi who’s been spinning images and words for many others. Dedicated essentially to advertising and working for internationally renowned brands, his work has been recognised in different festivals like “El Sol”, “El ojo de Iberoamérica” or the competition organised by MNCARS, “La Publicidad en el Museo”, in which one of his works was chosen to become part of the museum’s permanent collection.

At the end of a summer, by the intervention and grace of Monsignor Antoni Maria Alcover, Cristià and Blasi coincide for the first time. It was in Manacor, Mallorca, in a space dedicated to disseminate the figure and work of that cleric and linguist, author of the Diccionari català-valencià-balear.

Audiovisual production, scenic creation as well as content generating work for different media add up to the design of museographic spaces. Their magic is knowing about finding, or even creating, the appropriate languages that give life, voice and shape to the ideas.

Cristià-Blasi proudly present each and every one of the projects on this website. They do not know yet what you are going to find in the future but, one thing is for sure, they guarantee the same and inevitable passion of always.
